Staying in a Budget Hotel in Kuala Lumpur - Save to Shop & Sight-See More!

If you stay in a budget hotel in Kuala Lumpur, you will surely save a lot of money which you can use for shopping and entertainment. There are so many hotel choices in Malaysia's capital, but your top priority should be staying in one that is strategically located. This means that it should be close to shopping malls and the city's attractions. The good thing though is that many of them are in prime locations and they are also well-maintained.

When we say budget hotels or cheap hotels, from where we come from, this might mean staying in dirty rooms with terrible staff and loud neighbors. This is not the case for hotels in Kuala Lumpur due to the fact that currency exchange is favorable for us, thereby giving us more value for our money. Basically, we can stay at decent hotels even at a cheap price.

When looking for a good budget hotel in Kuala Lumpur, you can find some good ones around Kuala Lumpur's Monorail System as well as in Bukit Bintang which is a haven for shoppers.

Here you can find great buys for almost everything shopaholics can think of. Additionally, there are also affordable hotels here that you only need to pay RM 100 per night, and these are just a stone's throw away from popular shopping malls such as Bukit Bintang Plaza, Sungei Wang Plaza, and Low Yat Plaza. And if you have preferences for the more expensive stuff, no problem; these budget hotels are also near the upmarket Starhill and the Pavillion. As an added bonus, you can also visit the nearby Petronas Twin Towers which is a world-famous landmark.

If you are visiting Kuala Lumpur for its sights, you would of course want to see the Hindu and Chinese Temples which are situated along Petaling Street. You will find many budget hotels in the area too.

The places we have mentioned have no problem with transportation because these are within the reach of the Monorail or Light Rail Transit. Or you can also hail a cab which is surprisingly a lot cheaper than in most places in the world.
